Ahhhh, I almost forgot what great music sounds like these days. Granted this video is from her 2004 album, I believe, but no female artists today has yet to come near Bjork's creativity, originality, and craziness. (I had to add the "crazy" part because in spite of her short height this lady can hit a paparazzi when provoked to do so.)

Okay so I was searching for the music video of Common's "The People" and I came across a YouTube video of him breakdancing. Apparently he's a genuine BBoy as said by commentators in YouTube, which led me to think: Is there anything that this man can't do? It's bad enough that he has to be a good-looking gent who can freestyle with the best out there, AND now this.

Alright Common we get it. No one can touch you. All of these videos are making me regret that I did not see him on stage when I had the chance to do so last month. Damn it! Rats! And everything else!

George Clooney and Emile Hirsch on Charlie Rose

Okay call me a dork but I love the interviews done by Charlie Rose, especially when he interviews actors/actresses. Anyways here is a video of him interviewing George Clooney for "Michael Clayton" and Emile Hirsch for "Into The Wild." Two very talented, attractive men for you ladies. Oh by the way, didn't know the screen was going to be that small when embedded in the post.

My thoughts: George is, well, being George. I love how he asked Charlie how was the hangover. I also like how Charlie seems very interested in chatting with Emile and hearing what he has to say. I've heard so many great things about Emile's performance, and I'm glad he's getting all the recognition from the great critics out there. All in all really enjoyed the interviews.

End the weekend with a bit of Ella and Louis.

What I love to do while doing homework (ugh!) is to listen to old-school jazz music, particularly by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. I also try to end my night by just listening to them croon their little hearts out and scatting harmoniously.

Anyways I thought to myself why not do the same to my sugar friends and any sugar members, end their night and begin their new week with one of my favorite tunes by Ella and Louis, "Dream a Little Dream of Me." Enjoy your night ladies

Ever faked an accent to get something you wanted?

Okay this has been in my head ever since I heard this question asked in one of my local radio station, and the answer that many have faked an accent to land a job, get a date, and others. One mother's faked accent even go to her son, who speaks in an accent at school. The British accent was also the popular accent to use by the callers to the radio station. I haven't done this, but I might be tempted to do it just for kicks. Anyways I want to know if you have faked an accent before to get something (or someone) you wanted, what/who was that "something"/"someone", and what was the accent you used. If you haven't, ever thought of using a fake accent?

Okay I'm not sure what you guys think of celebrity/movie/tv shows montages on Youtube. I think they're mostly a hit-or-miss thing, but I was searching for the song that plays in the background of the recent Old Navy commercial on Youtube and landed to this:

*sigh* It made me miss the first season of Grey's Anatomy. I think most people tuned it to watch Meredeth and McDreamy, but I watched the show for the relationship of Christina and Dr. Burke. While I thought the main character's relationship was exhausting and annoying, I found Christina and Dr. Burke's relationship to be the highlight of each episode.

Anyways I thought the song by Ingrid Michaelson ("The Way I Am") complimented the scenes that were chosen. They had such great chemistry together, and I miss them on the show. I miss the old Grey's Anatomy. *sigh*

I've finally send a message to Teamsugar concerning with having a more diverse coverage of celebrities on Popsugar, which she will then forward it to Pop and Molly.

I want this to be a collective effort so here is the message I send:

"Dear Pop and Molly,

First of I love Popsugar. The lovely atmosphere of the community was what attracted me to Popsugar in the beginning. As a member of the community for 17 weeks, I visit the site religiously.

However, this isn't a love letter on how wonderful the community is but more of a request. I have talked to many sugar members and they all agree that a diverse coverage on celebrities is needed in Popsugar.

You have to remember that sugar members are diverse too in ethnicity, background, culture, likes, dislikes, and heck maybe even in sexuality, but Popsugar doesn't reflect that or cater to the diversity of the sugar members. The excessive coverage of Britney, Lindsay, Hayden, Hilary, Mischa, Angelina, Jennifer Garner, Rachel Bilson, for examples, (or as I like to call them "the usual suspects" or "your typical white girl in Hollywood") are too much and unneseccary. Really do we need to see photos of Angelina taking her kids to school every day?

I know that these celebs are who you like to write about, but there are many sugar members that are just tired of reading about them. I also know that it's base on how many hits that the post gets, but in spite of the many hits that a Paris Hilton post gets the comments are negative. In other words, sugar members comment on how much they hate her or sick of her. Doesn't that mean something to you? Like I said you enjoy writing about them but it seems that you don't take to consideration on how many negative comments you get on them?

The argument that these are the celebs who are in the limelight all the time can be made. However if other celeb blog sites like JustJared, Dlisted, Oh No They Didn't, and Perez Hilton can find stories on some of the most private celebs out there I think you can too. In addition, these sites post on celebrities of all ages and race. I don't see how you can't do that as well.

The postings don't have to be on their daily activities; it can be about anything. As an example, Oh No They Didn't posted a story on the artist Bjork performing in the Opera house in Sydney. And that post got more than 40 comments by the readers.

When I looked at the source of you postings, I see so many celebrities that you could have written about instead you picked to write about the usual celebrities we see often on Popsugar. For examples today there were photos of Helen Mirren at the National Movies Award and Ang Lee's "Lust, Caution" New York Premiere. There are many sugar members who are fans of Ang and Helen.

So with that said, as part of the ongoing effort to have more diverse postings of celebrities I want you to know that we, sugar members, love diversity.

Here are our efforts:
The Steve Martin post got more than 48,500 hits, which is close enough to the Paris Hilton's 50,000 hits. 71 comments were made as well in the Steve Martin post: http://popsugar.com/656181. Also I started a blog asking "Which other celebrities would you like to see in Sugar?" Many people commented as well: http://teamsugar.com/user/pinkflats/blog/660064. You can go to that blog to see a list of celebrities that sugar members would like to see more.

Here are just a few:
1. Gabrielle Union
2. Jennifer Connelly
3. Veteran actors, like Helen Mirren, Diane Keaton
4. Tracie Ellis Rose
5. More Latino celebrities, like Shakira and Gael Bernal Garcia.
6. Gerard Butler
7. Seth Rogen (my personal favorite)
8. Clive Owen
9. Celebrities from different parts of the world, from the UK to Asia
10. Just any celebrities who have talents to offer, not just attention-craving celebs.

I hope that you too would read the comments and see the message that is being made across: WE WANT DIVERSITY.

Like I said you have to remember that this is a community full of members with diverse taste in celebs, likes, ethnicity, culture, and background.

Please do consider our request. On behalf of many sugar members, thank you so much.

Whether it be Popsugar, Fabsugar, or any other sugar sites in this community, same Hollywood girls get posted (e.g. Hayden, Britney, Lindsay, Paris, Vanessa). Although I'm sure these girls have ton of fans here in the community, I for one would love to see some diversity in terms of people coverage. I mean if Perez Hilton can post about Alicia Keys or artists from other parts of the world and if JustJared can post about Helen Mirren, I dont think it would be hard for our Sugar staffs to find a blog story on other celebs than the "usual suspects."

So I want to know which other celebrities would you like to see around this community to get some "sugar" love?

So Mr. Clive "I'm a f*ckin cavemen!" Owen has a scratch on his face during a photo shoot for the production of Tom Tykwer's "The International" on Sept. 24, 2007. Come here and let me nurse you Mr. Owen. *swoon.*

How is it in spite of his disheveled look he has going on, I still want to do things to him that include whipped cream and bamboo bed sheets?
