I'm sticking it out with Grey's. I am going to miss the character Dr. Preston Burke...he was a great, great part of why I loved the show.

LOST...I'm always there. I LOVE that show!!!! Always intriguing and always frightening or at least spooky on some level

PS: LaLa...Nikka Costa is THE BEST!!! So much talent, and such little recognition. I hate that she (along with Esthero) get ignored, while Spears is being ENCOURAGED to make a comeback...bring on the REAL SINGERS!!!

AGREED! I am THISCLOSE to breaking up once and for all with that show! Season 1 was some of the BEST television I've watched. But last season was abosolute CRAP. Im giving it a few more episodes to win be back, but Greys is stll in the doghouse.

I keep saying this in all the posts about Grey's but here in Ireland we're way behind! But... in this weeks episode Gizzy happened. Ugh, I mean... ugh! But yeah, that's where we're at so I'm not sure what's yet to come but I'm rapidly losing interest.

However, thanks to the wonders of internet celebrity gossip I obviously know that Burke Is leaving and God, how I wish Isiah could've kept his stupid homophobic remarks to himself because I love Burke and Christina! They have an infinitely more interesting and compelling dynamic than (YAWN) McWhatsisface and Meredith.

Let me rephrase my thought...if George ends up with Izzie, I'm officially signing of necessary release forms and checking out of Seattle Grace, LOL

omg NO I love Grey's it's like comfort food to me. It makes me so cozy to watch they've never done wrong in my eyes. I'm just so happy that it's still on the air because I've never loved a show like I do Grey's.

I don't even care anymore. I haven't watched the premiere and don't plan to. It's over. Burktina was the only thing keeping me there, sadly.

I'm still a Grey's fan, but am disappointed that Burke isn't on the show anymore and am getting tired of Izzie/George thing. I like Callie and am afraid she'll be the next to get axed. I. Washington is now on the Bionic Woman.

I agree. Derek and Meredith's relationship annoyed me to all ends. I loved Christina and Burke and will certainly miss them together. I also do not want George and Izzie together. I love Callie and him together! I'll keep watching though...

Honestly T.R. Knight doesn't look like he's enjoying his job anymore. He looks sullen all the time, brooding. It's like WTF? I used to LOVE George. Now, I can't stand to look at the face. Izzie is like a gnat, annoying as crap. Mer/Der are like an endless, uninspired dance that will never end. They shouldn't be together, just put these two out of their misery. Patrick Dempsey's McDreamy is such a dull character now and he's pretty much sucks in movie roles. *snore* Like I said before, I loved Burktina and their relationship was the only real thing about the show, Sandra and Isaiah are so talented and they made a pretty believable couple onscreen. Oh, and I jsut don't get how Denny was the love of Izzie's life and all of a sudden, George is her soulmate. What a pathetic girl. Grey's is seriously lacking in character development. Chandra and Sandra was way too good for this show.

I don't even want to give that relationship a pet name, LOL. I also love Callie. But I feel like the writers have taken this really strong character and turned into a cry baby. Callie was so strong in the beginning of her relationship with George...in fact, she helped George grow a bit of a backbone towards his friends...and now she's begging and cowering for George, who, while her husband, she needs to stand up too!!!

Indie - you have practically quoted a conversation I had at the weekend!! Incest was the exact work I used for ...ew.... "gizzie". And how Izzie was grief-stricked about Denny, but then OBSESSED with George. I really hoped Meredith would just drown - she's such a whinger! Then Alex grows a heart - he's supposed to be the gorgeous "bad boy"!!

I also agree with you tiabia - Callie's character used to be so kickass. I mean in Season 2 she would have beat the crap out of Izzie if she had even suspected something was going on. And now she just watches them from a distance. WTF?!

And could someone please explain why Izzie, Meredith and Christina were so mean to Callie when she first started going out with George? I never understood that......

Season 3 was fantastic, Season 2 was mind-blowing, Season 3 was just blah. (I'm in Ireland too Kiki but I bought the dvds from Amazon because I've no patience to wait for shows on a week to week basis)

- i think it coulkd have something to do with territory. like here was callie taking george away from them.

but i agree with everything you said indielove. writing has been bad and has gone very soapy....i really don't think they deserve all of their emmy mons and wins...this show right now is just holding on to hype and on-set conflict.

Alex is still cool, I wouldn't say he was gorgeous, but I have seen Justin Chambers in person(we were in the same elevator together) and he looks really good in person.

Quite disappointing how it's all gone to pot now. I'm glad Isaiah is on Bionic Woman. He made a mistake and paid big for it. Luckily for him, his talent precedes his less-than-nice attitude. He was lovely as Burke though, and he's got a hot bod(lol, couldn't help it).

Shonda keeps saying that the viewers will be surprised and that we should go along for the ride but I just can't. I have no hope for this show and they're already taking a beating in the ratings by CSI. I used to read the GA blog after EVERY episode and would comment and read the hundreds of viewer comments. Now, not even 1/2 the people comment on them anmore cause the show is LAME.

I always loved Christina & Burke more than Meredith & McDreamy...It's definitely not the same without Dr.Burke! Btw, I love this video pink, and I agree, the song fits perfectly

Sigh, the new Grey's is annoying me as well. So typical - they put a fresh, different show on the air and as soon as it gains popularity, they start to pull the same cliche tactics like they do on other shows, thinking that's what the people want. I hope this doesn't happen to Ugly Betty.

Gruaig Rua, you know what I think has been making it extra tedious for me? The fact that I've been watching it on RTE 2 and they show it in double bills! It's too much annoyance to take in one sitting!!

And that ferry disaster episode was the worst ever. I knew it was too much to hope for that Meredith wouldn't come out of the water, but of course McDreamy had to go rescue her. I mean, WTF, there were no tides that day? She didn't get washed off? No, he finds her in exactly the spot where she went under. And then to drag out the death for a whole episode, and she wakes up after being DEAD for about 2 HOURS and starts to chat to Christina, no brain damage, nothing. The show has no connection whatsoever to reality, which I don't mind... up to a point! But it always takes it too far. In real life Callie would never like George, George would never make it as a doctor and Meredith would be a singer songwriter singing about how difficult she is to love... and her songs would be on Grey's Anatomy.

I have a completely different opinion than everyone here I guess because Izzy is my favorite and I love Meredith and Derek and I thought Burk and Christina were boring but mostly because I didn't really like Burk. I HATE George though he's just turned into a huge douche. So sick of him.
