Summer Diet Plan

All those talk about losing weight for the past years , I'm finally going to take it seriously this summer. Besides this is my last summer before I graduate from college. I don't want to just lose weight, but I also want to tone my body.

So right now I'm 5'2'' and 148 pounds. (Wow I was a bit going to lie and write down 145 pounds. lol). Anyways I have June, July and August to do it, and each month my goal is to lose at least 5 pounds. That would be 133 pounds all together; in other words I'm aiming for 135 pounds by the end of the summer.

The summer diet plan begins on June 1st. Wish me luck. Oh I'm getting butterflies inside my stomach.

Good luck, you can so do it.Just keep in mind how bad you want it and be balanced.

Hey thanks aras. I'll keep that in mind. I'll also try my best to keep everyone who is interested updated and I might even add pictures if the diet is apparently working.

Just ease into it. It's great that you have a starting date, that's exactly what I did when I quite smoking (3.5 months ago, woo hoo). Just don't plan to change your life completely in that first week.
Say 'ok, this week I'm going to do my best to eat a healthy breakfast every day and go to the gym for x minutes 3 times.' Use that as a starting point.
I know when I tried to 'turn my health around' initially, I didn't do all of the 85 things on my list and got discouraged.
You can do it, think of it like training for a marathon; you don't just go out your first day of running and go 26 miles! Build slowly and steadily, you'll get there!
Plus when you set goals like that, it feels really good to reach them Smiling

You know what I'm going take your tip Amazon. You're right about not overdoing myself in the first week and to take things more slowly in the first week.

Good for you! Have a steady plan in mind definitely helps and just think of little things that you can do everyday to help you lose those pounds. And don't worry, there's a lot of people out there trying to lose weight with you! (Like me!)

same with me, well kinda i am not trying to lose 2lbs every week or nothing i just want to lose 5lbs every month... good luck and you could do it if you stick to it and take it lightly.
